I CAN

It is a principal aim for Helene Elsass Center that people with Cerebral Palsy may obtain a high degree of self-determination and control over own life.
This fundamental vision is comprised in the following concept - I CAN: 


     I  stands for Individual profile, i. e.:
                 Focus on what you already can and that you can develop.

     C  stands for Compensation, i. e.:
                 Learn how to compensate for the inevitable impairment.

     A  stands for Analysing, i. e.:
                Weigh up the possibilities and the obstacles in relation to future prospects.

     N  stands for New Orientation, i. e.:
                (Re)define plans and strategies for paticipation and activity.
